Week 1

Monday.  Travel to Customer’s Site.  1:30pm – Arrival/Setup.  2:30pm – Welcome and Introductions.  3:00pm – Break.  3:20pm – Operator Station Orientation.  3:50pm – Navigating the Screens.  4:45pm – Discussions 

Tuesday.  8:30am – Review.  8:45am – MACO hardware orientation.  10:00am – Break.  10:20am – MACO hardware advanced.  12:00pm – Lunch.  1:00pm – User Screen layout.  2:00pm – Temperature Control Screens.  3:00pm – Break.  3:20pm – Temperature Control Tuning Screens.  4:00pm – Temperature Control Troubleshooting.  4:45pm – Open Discussions 

Wednesday.  8:30am – Review.  8:45am – Timers Counters Screen.  10:00am – Break.  10:20am – Mold Control Screens.  12:00pm – Lunch.  1:00pm – Ejector & Core Screens.  3:00pm – Break.  3:20pm – Machine Alarms Screen.  3:20pm – Alarm Screen & Alarm Log Screen.  4:45pm – Open Discussions. 

Thursday.  8:30am – Review.  8:45am – Injection Profile/ Injection Monitor/ Injection Signature.  10:00am – Break.  10:20am – Holding Profile Screen.  12:00pm – Lunch.  1:00pm – Plasticizing Profile Screen.  2:00pm – Injection Signature Screen/ Introduction to Impact.  3:00pm – Break.  3:20pm – Impact Monitor Screen.  4:00pm – Valve Gate Setup, Position & Time Screens.  4:45pm – Open Discussion

Week 2

Tuesday.  8:30am – Review.  8:45am – Using the Analog Output Min/Max Screen.  10:00am – Break.  10:20am – Recipe Storage & Title Screens.  12:00pm – Lunch.  1:00pm – Introduction to Troubleshooting.  2:00pm – Electrical, Hydraulic & Mechanical discussion.  3:00pm – Break.  3:20pm – Explanation of I/O type differences.  4:00pm – troubleshooting using electrical schematics.  4:45pm – Open Discussions. 

Wednesday.  8:30am – Review.  8:45am – Fundamental Troubleshooting Practices.  10:00am – Break.  10:20am – Determining the nature of the problem.  12:00pm – Lunch.  1:00pm – MACO program addresses introduction.  3:00pm – Break.  3:20pm – troubleshooting using the RLD print out.  4:00pm – Using the CR Access & I/O Screen.  4:45pm – Open Discussions. 

Thursday.  8:30am – Review.  8:45am – troubleshooting using Analog I/O Setup Screen.  10:00am – Break.  10:20am – Setpoint Change Log/Security Change Screens.  12:00pm – Lunch.  1:00pm – Navigation of System Screens.  2:00pm – Using the System Screens for troubleshooting.  3:00pm – Break.  3:20pm – Error Code description interpretation.  4:00pm – Using floppy storage backups.  4:45pm – Open Discussions.
