What to Expect

Project Walkthrough

When you meet with our sales engineering staff, you or your engineering team will define a project scope with direction from Progressive Controls & Automation LLC (Progressive).  A discussion about your current setup, what you want to keep, what your goals are, and of course what you want to do when we hand you the keys.

Proposal

Progressive issues detailed proposals for our clients.  Our quotations are very defined, and specifically state exactly what you will receive, and how it will be connected to your existing equipment.

Design and Build

Upon customer order, Progressive assigns a Project Engineer (PE) to your project.  This PE meets with your sales engineer for project turnover and kickoff.  The project engineer, other suppliers, and you the customer define the detailed action plan.

IMPORTANT: The project engineer remains in touch with everyone involved to assure that needed revisions are incorporated into the system and that the system’s expectations aren’t compromised by other suppliers.

Delivery

A delivery schedule is communicated to you early in the process- in coordination with your in-plant schedule.

Product delivered to your location include:

* CAD System Drawings
* Complete Software and Hardware
* Monitor with HMI Touchscreen
* any Drives, Motors, Hydraulics, etc.

Installation

Progressive wants your install to go as smoothly as possible- so before it even happens, CAD installation drawings are designed with wire diagrams numbered according to your provided, existing wiring diagrams.  Progressive personnel have a long history of properly installed applications.  Rely on Progressive to deliver a “worry free” quality installation.  Progressive also often works with our customers’ electrician/maintenance staff, or preferred electrical contractor in facilitating the installation of the provided control system.

Setup and Training

After installation is complete, our Field Service Engineer double checks and tests all new connections, and commisions the system.  Customer personnel are thoroughly trained in the operation and troubleshooting of the system.

Completion

Your approval of the completed job is important to us and we seek your sign off of your project.  You will be asked to fill out a brief survey that, with your permission, may be posted on our website.
